José Manuel Galdón Brugarolas, CEO of TPI, has been in charge of welcoming attendees, valuing the 234 applications received – including architectural projects and construction materials. All of them, said the manager, demonstrate “the importance of betting on energy efficiency and innovation, the need to rehabilitate our building park, the inevitable that is the integration into the landscape, the latest in interior design or the weight of the Spanish architecture outside our borders ». During his speech, the CEO has wanted to recover some words from Lluís Comerón, president of the CSCAE and these awards, who says that “without the necessary transformation of our cities and territories, we will hardly achieve most of the Sustainable Development Goals. To fulfill them, along the way we have to bet on the values of Architecture: quality of the built environment as a guarantee of the general interest ».
